Fourth of July is right around the corner – but if you still don’t have plans, don’t worry. In this post, we’ve got your back with a round-up of local spots you can check out for Independence Day’s brilliant displays. If, on the other hand, you’re not celebrating, steer clear of the following lit-up locations:
City of Jacksonville
The show will begin at 9:45 p.m.
Located in Downtown Jacksonville – 2 Independent Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32202
It’s not an Independence Day celebration without fireworks! Put on your favorite red, white and blue and join us along the majestic St. Johns River in Downtown Jacksonville for the best July 4th Fireworks show on the First Coast!
Fireworks will be launched high above the St. Johns River from the Acosta Bridge and from a barge on the St. Johns River between the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront, Lexington Hotel & Conference Center, Jacksonville Riverwalk, and DoubleTree by Hilton Jacksonville Riverfront hotels.
The July 4th Fireworks show will be viewable from both the North and South banks in Downtown Jacksonville in addition to viewing from Brooklyn and under the Fuller Warren Bridge where the Riverside Arts Market is held.
City of Jacksonville Beach
The show will begin at 9:00 p.m.
Located at the Jax Beach Pier – 503 1st St N, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250
The City of Jacksonville Beach is proud to host the annual 4th of July Fireworks! To be held at the Pier, we recommend everyone to get there early for a great seat. The Pier Parking lot will be open for seating only so bring your chairs and blankets!
City of Fernandina Beach
Starts around 9:30 p.m. – Downtown Fernandina Riverfront
This annual fireworks display held in downtown Fernandina Beach on the riverfront. You’ll also find vendors, live music, games and other entertainment in the area. Festivities normally start around 6:00 p.m. depending on the weather and schedule.

Saint Mary’s Celebration
Vendors 9:00 a.m., Parade 10:00 a.m., Fireworks at Dusk
Downtown St. Marys – 111 Osborne Street, Saint Marys, GA 31558
The Kiwanis Annual Fourth of July celebration offers hometown charm plus a parade and fireworks over the St. Marys River. Other activities include a 5K & 10K Run, arts & crafts vendors, entertainment throughout the day and river cruise that offers the best seat in town for the fireworks display.
